Map

Our school’s address is Dolgi most 6a. Located on Ljubljana’s West end and meaning “long bridge” (dolgi = long, most = bridge), the bridge refers to the part of the Trzaška cesta which crosses the Gradaščica river. This river also runs next to our school’s parking lot. On the map, the school is marked by the red circle.

Directions

Approach:
  • If your approach is from the center of Ljubljana, just take Trzaška cesta.
        or
  • If your approach is from outside of Ljubljana, take the highway and exit at “Lj – Zahod, Lj – Vič”. From here the exit ramp takes you to Trzaška cesta. Turn Left. You are now driving West on Trzaška cesta.
Regardless of your approach:
  • After driving under the highway, Trzaška cesta goes over the “long” (in the current mindset actually very short) bridge. After completing the slight descent from the bridge, immediately turn Right – although you may not yet see the road – and complete the 180 degree turn onto the “Dolgi most” road. As a reference on the map, a small parking lot (marked by the purple oval) is located at the point where you make this turn. Also, the restaurant “Pri babici” (marked by the purple circle) is visible before you make the turn. You are now driving parallel to Trzaška cesta but slightly lower and in the opposite direction, i.e., East towards Ljubljana.
  • Just stay on this road until you get to the school’s parking lot by the woods. (The road will first make a 90 degree turn towards the Left. After about 200 meters you will see a parking lot. Ignore it as this is the sport center’s parking lot and stay towards the right. The road narrows and continues next to some larger buildings on your left. Keep driving straight until this small road ends at a small parking lot.)
