2009-2010 - World Math Day (Mar 1-3, 2010) (ages 6 and older)
This is a major global free competition in which students are involved in a huge online Mathematics competition. Students take part in real-time maths challenges using the Mathletics game engine. Students compete live, with other students around the globe.
In 48 hours, 1,133,246 students from 56,082 schools in 11,456 cities/towns of 235 countries have answered 479,732,613 questions correctly!
QSI of Ljubljana had 32 participants who put together awe-inspiring 48,243 points or correctly answered questions!
- International Math Kangaroo Competition (Mar 18, 2010) (ages 6 through 15)
According to age, the students will tackle 5 to 24 multiple choice problems in 45-90 minutes. The problems mainly test students' problem solving skills and logical thinking.
